Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Drift Circuit mobile game ("the Game", "we") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We designed the Game to collect as little information as possible: there are no user accounts, no advertising, and no third-party analytics SDKs.
1. Information We Collect
- Gameplay data — your in-game display name, selected car and avatar, upgrade count, rank points, race results (finishing position, race time, fastest lap), and coins earned.
- Race replay data — anonymized position/speed samples of your best races, used to power the "ghost racer" feature in online matches.
- Technical data — transient connection information (such as IP address) that is required to operate online matchmaking and the leaderboard service. This is processed in server memory and standard server logs only.
We do not collect your real name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, advertising identifiers, or any data used for tracking across apps and websites.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate online multiplayer matchmaking and real-time races.
- To display global leaderboards of best race results.
- To replay recorded races as ghost opponents in online matches.
- To maintain the security and stability of the Game service.
3. In-App Purchases
Coin purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). We never receive or store your payment details. Purchase records are managed by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage & Retention
Game progress (coins, owned cars, upgrades, rank) is stored locally on your device. Leaderboard entries and race replays are stored on our game server and are capped to a fixed number of best results; older entries are automatically discarded. Server connection logs are rotated and deleted on a regular schedule.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party. Your in-game display name and race results are visible to other players only as part of leaderboards and online matches.
6. Children's Privacy
The Game does not require any personal information to play and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the display name field, contact us and we will remove it.
7. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your leaderboard entries and replays at any time by contacting us with your in-game display name. Deleting the app removes all locally stored progress.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
